About NOVA
NOVA aims to inspire and train the world's future entrepreneurs and leaders to take charge of solving societal issues.
What is NOVA?
NOVA is an annual entrepreneurship competition for high school students hosted at Taipei American School. We welcome all international schools, although invitations will be limited only to on-island schools this year due to COVID-19 regulations.
Why NOVA?
NOVA provides high school students with a unique experience in developing a business plan, networking with and receiving feedback from prominent figures in various industries. Past mentors and judges include Bruce Bateman, CEO at QO+, and Jay Cheng, co-founder of Wemo.
Mission Statement
NOVA provides students practical entrepreneurship knowledge and skills by teaching them how to identify a real world problem, develop an innovative solution, create a rapid prototype, and pitch to potential investors.
No prior experience or knowledge in entrepreneurship is required.
We encourage any student who is interested in business or entrepreneurship to participate in this valuable learning experience.
